Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead survey projects in Las Vegas, NV. The role requires extensive surveying field knowledge, project oversight, and client coordination to deliver on-time, on-budget results.

You will supervise field crews and CAD staff, develop budgets, proposals, and schedules, and work with clients and contractors to meet project requirements. This position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred, or commensurate relevant experience.
• Professional Land Surveying registration preferred.
• Seven or more years of land surveying experience including party chief level experience.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, roadway software, MicroStation and Carlson principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project objectives and review staff work for quality assurance.
• Assist with marketing to identify new clients and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
• Meet with prospective clients, prepare proposals, and establish budgets and schedules.
• Oversee surveying and mapping activities and review project changes and contract implications.
• Provide day-to-day assistance to survey crews and CAD technicians in the field or office.
• Define scope of multiple complex projects and track deliverable schedules.
• Maintain project cost sheets, manage budgets, and assist with billing inquiries.
• Provide technical assistance for design problems and coordinate surveying aspects with clients.
