Job summary

Bowman Consulting in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead and coordinate surveying projects from proposal through delivery. You will manage field crews, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and ensure on-time, within-budget project completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field preferred.
• Professional Land Surveying registration preferred.
• Seven or more years of land surveying experience including party chief level experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate surveying projects and field crews to meet budgets and schedules.
• Meet with prospective clients, prepare proposals, and establish budgets and schedules.
• Oversee all surveying and mapping activities, including review of project changes and adjustments to contracts.
• Provide day-to-day assistance to survey crews and communicate needs to staff.
• Develop plans to accomplish land survey projects and monitor progress toward deliverables.
• Maintain project status reports, calculations, and essential records.
• Coordinate surveying and mapping services between Survey Party Chief and client.
• Procure and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment for survey crews.
