Job summary

Bateman Civil Survey Company in North Carolina seeks a Survey Project Manager to oversee surveying projects end-to-end, from initiation to completion. You will lead a diverse team of professionals, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with industry standards while meeting client expectations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), 5+ years CAD experience, and demonstrated leadership with proficiency in advanced design software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required; equivalent work experience accepted.
• Senior-level position with 5+ years of CAD experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and proficiency in advanced design software.
• PLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, and resource allocation.
• Mentor junior staff and develop templates to increase team efficiency.
• Serve as primary client contact and ensure needs are understood and met.
• Prepare and manage project budgets within financial constraints.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Review survey data, calculations, and drawings for QA before PLS review.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to achieve goals.
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and stored properly.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
