KPFF’s San Diego Survey Group is seeking a motivated Survey Intern to gain hands-on experience in land surveying and civil engineering support. You will work directly with professional surveyors in both the field and office on real projects throughout Southern California.

Interns will assist with the full survey workflow, including data collection, drafting, and mapping deliverables, while learning from experienced surveyors and engineers in a supportive team.

Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing a degree in civil engineering, geomatics, surveying, or a related field.
• Interest in land surveying, mapping, or civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technical skills.
• Ability to work both outdoors in field environments and in an office setting.
• Basic familiarity with CAD software is helpful but not required.

Aufgaben

• Assisting survey field crews with data collection for boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
• Supporting survey drafting efforts using CAD software to prepare base maps and survey exhibits.
• Assisting with processing and organizing field data collected using modern survey equipment.
• Performing basic research of survey records and maps.
• Supporting project teams with general survey-related tasks as needed.
