Kiewit is offering a Survey Intern position that blends field and office work to develop essential surveying skills. The internship provides hands-on experience in a large infrastructure context, with opportunities to participate in real projects across multiple districts.

You will learn and perform in-field data processing, maintain field notes, and support the surveying team while traveling to assigned sites. This role requires summer availability and a strong safety mindset.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a degree in surveying or related field.
• Willing to travel and relocate as required.
• Able to work full-time during the summer (May–August).
• Strong work ethic and commitment to ethics and integrity.
• Passion for safety and preventing injuries.
• Team player who can work independently to meet deadlines.
• Good organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Cannot require sponsorship for employment now or in the future.

Responsabilidades

• Follow the project survey plan specific to field operations.
• Maintain accurate record keeping, field procedures and survey audits to ensure that all work is performed efficiently and professionally.
• Utilize software to process field data.
• Follow proper field safety procedures.
• Take accurate and legible field notes.
• Perform setting and maintenance of control network.
• Communicate with project surveying team.
