Job summary

KPFF is seeking a summer intern for our Portland Survey Group, May–August (or June–September per school schedule). You\'ll work alongside a field crew and assist our Survey Office Technicians with CAD tasks, gaining hands-on experience early in your civil engineering career.

The role offers real project exposure across site development, boundary staking, topo surveying, and building inspections, with mentorship from a skilled team in a collaborative, safety‑minded environment.

Qualifications

• Age 16+
• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) Monday–Friday
• Able to lift to 70 lbs.
• Able to stand or walk for several hours

Responsibilities

• Assist Survey Office Technicians with CAD tasks.
• Gain hands-on experience on real projects.
• Work with field crew to support surveying activities.
