Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a student for a summer internship with our Survey Group in Portland, available May–August or June–September depending on your school schedule. You’ll work with a field crew and assist our Survey Office Technicians with CAD tasks, gaining hands-on experience from a talented team of professionals.

This internship offers exposure to boundary staking, topo surveying, construction layout, drone missions, and building inspections within a civil engineering

Qualifications

• Effective communication and ability to work in a team
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for several hours

Responsibilities

• Assist Survey Office Technicians with CAD tasks and gain hands-on experience alongside a field crew.
• Contribute to survey projects and learn from a team of professionals in Portland.
