Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. is seeking a Survey Field Technician I to load/unload equipment, set up field instruments, and help obtain accurate elevations on varied terrain. The role requires physical stamina and ability to work outdoors.

You will travel daily, may require overnight trips, and will be part of a collaborative survey team dedicated to delivering precise data for construction and site development projects.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate equipment as needed.
• Willing to travel daily; overnight travel may be required.
• Able to work unsupervised when required.
• Outdoor walking through varied terrain under adverse conditions.
• Background checks and pre-employment drug screening are conditions of employment.
• Valid CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment from truck and carry to job site.
• Cut line with brush axe.
• Run level rod to obtain elevations.
• Hold prism pole for horizontal positions.
• Walk long distances over varied terrain; some overnight travel may be required.
