Acteon Group’s UTEC division seeks a Survey Engineer for offshore and onshore survey operations. The role entails configuring equipment on vessels, calibrations, and ensuring safety, quality, and contractual compliance.
Travel and long hours are expected, with extensive time at sea in challenging environments. Education in electronics/engineering is preferred and prior survey experience is advantageous.

UTEC is looking to add a qualified Survey Engineer to the Offshore team in the United States. The Survey Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all engineering work carried out on site is conducted in the best interests of UTEC and the Client and meets all project safety, contractual and quality requirements. The Survey Engineer shall also ensure that all equipment received to the vessel is configured correctly and calibrations and certification is kept up to date.
This is an both onshore vessel mobilizations and offshore support role and will require a significant amount of time spent on a vessel and may take place in inclement weather and extreme temperatures. Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, long days, and evening/weekend hours to meet deadlines. Extensive travel is required.
