Job summary

EnSiteUSA in Lexington, KY seeks a Survey Technician to process field data for boundary, construction, topography, and as-built projects. You will work under a Registered Professional Land Surveyor using Trimble Business Center, TBC, and AutoCAD Civil 3D with conventional surveying gear.

Travel to project sites may be required. You will ensure data integrity, prepare reports and plans, and collaborate with the VP/Directors and field crews to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience in processing survey data (topography, boundary, ALTA, staking, descriptions).
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble software ecosystems.
• Knowledge of pipeline surveying methods and field verification processes.
• Ability to read construction drawings, maps, plats, and deed descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Process field survey data with project codes and export to Civil 3D, ArcView, Excel, CSV files.
• Review daily project progress and maintain a data file log from field crews.
• Interface with field crews and supervisors to identify data omissions or deficiencies.
• Prepare technical reports addresses field progress and data integrity; produce plans, maps and charts as needed.
