Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Crew Chief to join our growing Survey team in College Station, TX. The role leads field crews and coordinates terrestrial and boundary surveys for residential and commercial properties.

You will operate Total Stations, GNSS gear, and 3D scanners while ensuring data quality and safety compliance. A strong self-starter with survey leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Prior crew chief experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with data collectors, data collection techniques, robotic instruments, field notes, total stations and leveling.
• Experience with or ability to learn 3D scanners.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; MVR will be checked.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for communications and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead one, two or three-person crews.
• Perform surveys: design, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, right-of-way, aerial ground control.
• Plan and perform field surveys within project scope and budget.
• Supervise and direct other crew members when needed.
• Interact with project site supervisors and client field reps.
• Prepare accurate field notes and daily activity reports.
