Job description

Bourland Land Surveying is currently seeking applicants for the Field Engineer / Crew Chief Position

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Boundary and Topographic Surveys
2. Construction Site layouts and other surveying activities
3. Supervise a Rodman and/or crew
4. Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
5. Must adhere to safety protocol and work in a drug-free environment
6. Be detail-oriented, adaptable, and enthusiastic
7. Exhibit flexibility to work on multiple projects and react to changing client and company expectations
8. Be able to take direction and function independently
9. Participate and become an active part of the project and division team
10. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables based on client preferences and in areas where documentation may be lacking, or limited standardization exists
11. Current and Valid Driver License
12. Ability to use personal vehicle. Personal vehicle use will be compensated by the company.
