Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Our firm is seeking a career-minded individual for a Survey Crew Chief position. Ability to read and understand plans, use robotic total stations and GPS equipment, perform ALTA, boundary, and topographic surveys, and construction staking.

What You Will Be Doing

• Writing descriptions of boundary surveys for legal documentation
• Working directly with team members, mentoring, and leading with a team mentality
• Applying knowledge of field instrumentation and technical software such as AutoCAD Civil3D
• Problem solving, troubleshooting, and providing quality work
• Monitoring projects from start to finish and interacting with clients
• Playing a hands-on design role, being integral to all operations
• This is a leadership role with long-term growth opportunities both individually and with the company

What You Will Need

• 3+ years of related surveying experience
• Proficiency with Trimble Business Center and Carlson Survey software
• Experience operating GIS software
• The motivation to deliver quality work effectively and efficiently
• Strong understanding of the entire surveying process
• Ability to motivate a team
