Job Details

• Salary Range: $23.00/hr - $30.00/hr (based on experience)

Responsibilities

1. Utilize data collectors, robotic total stations, and GPS equipment.
2. Perform remote file transfers daily.
3. Lead day-to-day crew operations.
4. Manage and coordinate surveying projects.
5. Ensure crew is equipped with PPE and follows safety procedures.
6. Coordinate with office staff and clients as needed.
7. Apply knowledge of survey engineering methods and regulations.
8. Monitor completion of timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum 3 years of surveying experience
• Professional Land Surveyor license in Tennessee (other state licenses desirable)
• Knowledge of relevant software
• Experience with Transportation Database Surveys (desirable)
• Valid driver’s license and insurability

Physical Requirements

• Mobility in construction and field sites
• Ability to carry and lift instruments up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform essential functions safely, considering environmental conditions
