Job summary
Colliers Engineering & Design in Houston, TX is seeking a Survey CADD Operator to join our Survey/Geospatial team. You will transform field survey data into accurate drawings supporting land development and infrastructure projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include drafting parcels and subdivision boundaries from legal descriptions using CAD (Civil 3D), maintaining AutoCAD proficiency, and performing topographic, ALTA, and boundary surveys under the project
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associate degree or technical certificate (AutoCAD preferred).
- 2–5 years related experience; survey experience a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Carlson OEM/Embedded preferred.
Responsibilities
- Draft parcels or subdivision boundaries from legal descriptions using CAD techniques (Civil 3D).
- Maintain proficiency in AutoCAD; MicroStation a plus.
- Perform Topographic, ALTA, Boundary, and As-built surveys.
- Read and plot Legal descriptions; draft portions of routine projects.
- Adhere to AutoCAD standards; work under direction of project surveyor.
