Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a Survey CADD Operator to join our Survey/Geospatial team in Indiana. In this office-based role, you’ll transform field data into precise survey deliverables and prepare base maps for transportation projects, leveraging AutoCAD and survey mapping skills.

You will support a range of tasks from data processing to project coordination, with opportunities to grow within a leading survey and geospatial team in a collaborative office setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• 0–3 years surveying experience required.
• DOT projects experience preferred.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required; MicroStation, InRoads/OpenRoads proficiency highly preferred.
• Proficient data techniques and coding systems.
• Advanced knowledge of surveying instruments, techniques, and computations.
• Advanced understanding of angular and linear measurement systems.
• Advanced knowledge of trigonometry and geometry.
• Construction surveying experience a plus.
• 3D scanning registration experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare complete boundary survey by compiling data and providing sound analysis for accurate property line locations.
• QC review on reports, plans, specs, cost estimates, and other documents for accuracy.
• Assist staff in preparation of reports, findings, plans, and other documents.
• Organize and coordinate field and office staff for design, field and other tasks on complex projects.
• Assist in preparation of project/task work plans.
• Provide direction to staff to complete project objectives.
• Monitor work efforts of assigned staff including sub-consultants/contractors.
