Colliers Engineering & Design in Houston, TX is seeking a Survey CADD Operator to join our Survey/Geospatial team. You will transform field survey data into accurate drawings supporting land development and infrastructure projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include drafting parcels and subdivision boundaries from legal descriptions using CAD (Civil 3D), maintaining AutoCAD proficiency, and performing topographic, ALTA, and boundary surveys under the project

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associate degree or technical certificate (AutoCAD preferred).
• 2–5 years related experience; survey experience a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Carlson OEM/Embedded preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft parcels or subdivision boundaries from legal descriptions using CAD techniques (Civil 3D).
• Maintain proficiency in AutoCAD; MicroStation a plus.
• Perform Topographic, ALTA, Boundary, and As-built surveys.

Overview

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Survey CADD Operator to join our Survey/Geospatial team in Houston, TX. In this role, you'll transform field survey data into accurate, high-quality drawings that support land development and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities

• Ability to draft parcels, or subdivision boundaries from legal descriptions using CAD techniques (Civil 3D).
• Maintains average skills in the use of AutoCAD (MicroStation a plus).
• Ability and knowledge to perform Topographic survey, ALTA survey, Boundary Survey, As built Survey etc.
• Ability to read and plot Legal descriptions.
• Performs drafting of portions of routine projects under direction of project surveyor.
• Understands surveying terminology.
• Prepares a variety of survey products.
• Adheres to AutoCAD standards manual.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/Equivalent; Associates Degree or a Certificate from a technical school, preferably in AutoCAD.
• 2-5 years of related experience. (Previous survey experience a plus).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Carlson OEM or Embedded highly preferred.
• Work within a team oriented environment to successfully complete a high volume of projects within established budgets and deadlines.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
