Job summary

GPI seeks a mid-level Survey Technician with a minimum of three years of survey experience for our Scott Depot, WV office. You will develop survey deliverables (boundary surveys, existing conditions plans, etc.) in AutoCAD Civil 3D and process field data into working drawings and final plans under the supervision of a Survey Project Manager.

Preference given to SIT certification and prior field/office survey experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of surveying experience including boundary and topographic surveys.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D in survey capacity.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and completing drawings per project requirements using CAD drafting tools.
• Modifying drawings as directed by the project manager or surveyor.
• Working closely with other surveyors and engineers to ensure a coordinated design.
• Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary.
• Occasionally assisting field crews as necessary.
