Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is seeking a Survey CAD Technician with at least 2 years of experience to join our Morris Plains, NJ office.

You will work under the Survey Department, processing field data and developing survey plans using Civil3D and MicroStation, with Terrestrial LiDAR support as needed. You should have civil engineering or survey CAD drafting experience, strong communication skills, and be comfortable working on project-based schedules under the direction of a Project Surveyor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Autodesk Civil3D, Bentley OpenRoads/OpenSite Designer, or equivalent software.
• Experience with civil/site CAD drafting is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Terrestrial LiDAR collection and initial processing.
• Prepare Existing Conditions Surveys using AutoDesk Civil3D and MicroStation software.
• Perform 3D modeling and data extraction for Civil Engineering and Surveying Applications.
