Job summary
GPI is seeking a Survey CAD Technician for our Survey Department with at least 2 years of experience to work out of our Morris Plains, NJ office. The successful candidate will process field data into CAD for survey plans and documents and support project schedules under a Project Surveyor.
The role includes Terrestrial LiDAR processing, Existing Conditions Surveys using Civil3D and MicroStation, and 3D modeling and data extraction for civil engineering and surveying applications, with emphasis
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using Autodesk Civil3D, Bentley OpenRoads/OpenSite Designer, or equivalent software.
- High school or equivalent education required.
- 3D modeling software experience is favorable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite programs is favorable.
- Experience with civil/site projects is favorable.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Terrestrial LiDAR collection and initial processing.
- Prepare Existing Conditions Surveys using AutoDesk Civil3D and MicroStation software.
- Perform 3D modeling and data extraction for Civil Engineering and Surveying Applications.
