Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Survey CAD Technician with strong CAD and land surveying background. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation, GDOT standards, and field-to-office data integration is essential.

The role involves drafting, data validation, and preparing plans and plats for various surveying projects. The candidate will support field crews and collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate, efficient deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD and survey software experience.
• 5+ years of land surveying experience.
• At least 1 year of field and office surveying experience with hands-on AutoCAD.
• Experience with GDOT standards and processes.
• Experience with survey software and equipment is essential.
• At least 1 year of MicroStation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process daily field survey data using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD to create high-quality survey drawings.
• Develop 3D digital terrain models from field data for engineering design using InRoads/OpenRoads or similar software.
• Draft and design for various land surveying projects while adhering to CAD standards, including GDOT requirements.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver accurate results.
• Ensure field crews collect necessary data by maintaining communication and coordination.
• Prepare and compile information for plans, as-builts, and final plats.
• Revise plats/drawings based on supervisor feedback.
