Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to work on diverse projects with a national footprint. You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools to produce ALTA surveys, final plats, and construction layouts, while aligning with Atwell's standards.

You will review survey data, adjust plans per agency and client revisions, and coordinate with Project Managers to keep workflows on track and billable. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) preferred.
• Strong drafting and plan modification skills.
• Understanding of ALTA surveys, easements, and construction staking.

Responsibilities

• Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments, ensuring they align with Atwell's standards.
• Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and construction staking.
• Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, considering factors like legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.
• Edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients, following directives closely.
• Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status, ensuring the team meets chargeability goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience Preferred
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) Preferred
• High School Diploma Required, Associated Degree Preferred
• Thorough understanding of Altas, Topo's, Boundaries, and Construction Staking
• Previous experience with Point cloud
