Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join our national practice. You will draft using AutoCAD Civil 3D, analyze survey data, and produce ALTA surveys, maps of dedication, and construction layouts across diverse projects.

Travel to Atwell offices as needed and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure high-quality deliverables while maintaining workflow timelines in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of ALTA, Topo, Boundaries and Construction Staking.
• Experience with survey data, legal descriptions, and easement documents.
• Ability to modify drawings per agency and client revisions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete assignments to Atwell standards.
• Generate ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts and staking.
• Review project survey data and analyze existing site conditions.
• Edit plans following agency/client directives and maintain workflow status.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to meet chargeability goals.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement and is open to candidates residing anywhere in Ohio, with the ability to travel to the Atwell office as needed.

As aSurvey CAD Technician at Atwell, you will work on diverse projects with various sizes, scopes, and details. You will work in a flexible work environment with a fantastic culture and a national presence.

Resourceful Support:Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.

CAD Proficiency:Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments, ensuring they align with Atwell's standards.

Drawing Production:Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and construction staking.

Survey Data Analysis:Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, considering factors like legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.

Plan Modification:Responsibly edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients, following directives closely.

Workflow Coordination:Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status, ensuring the team meets chargeability goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience Preferred
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC) Preferred
• High School Diploma Required, Associated Degree Preferred
• Thorough understanding of Altas, Topo's, Boundaries, and Construction Staking
• Previous experience with Point cloud
