Job summary

Alta Environmental & Infrastructure seeks a motivated Surveyor Assistant to join our Phoenix Survey team, providing essential support to the Crew Chief on land surveying tasks outdoors, maintaining safety and accuracy in varying conditions.

The role involves field duties like staking, topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and proficiency with Trimble GPS, Robotic Total Station, and field software, plus field note documentation and coordination with project managers.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, procedures, and manuals.
• Mathematical concepts such as algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Support the survey crew chief on land surveying tasks in the field.
• Perform field duties including staking, topographic, boundary, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
• Document field notes, maintain calculations, and follow project direction.
