Alta E&I is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey Field Technician to join our Tucson Survey team. As a Survey Field Technician, you will provide essential support to a survey Crew Chief performing land surveying tasks on a survey field crew. This position requires the ability to work outdoors, in sometimes extreme conditions, performing tasks safely and accurately while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
A Survey Field Technician directly assists a Crew Chief on a survey field crew performing the following tasks:
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and rugged terrain. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
Regular core hours for this position are from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Summer schedule) transitioning to 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Winter schedule). Most work is performed during core hours, but occasionally overtime may be required before and/or after these core hours. This is a full time position.
Most assignments for this position will be done locally. However, occasionally assignments may be out of town and overnight travel could be required.
