Job summary

Alta Environmental & Infrastructure is seeking a motivated Survey Field Technician to join our Tucson survey team. You will support a Crew Chief performing land surveying tasks in the field, outdoors, in varying conditions, while staying safe and precise.

Responsibilities include assisting with measurements, stakes, monuments, field notes, and related tasks. Regular hours are mornings with potential overtime; local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to travel to job sites as a member of a survey field crew.

Responsibilities

• Directly assists a Crew Chief on a survey field crew.
• Clear brush, dig holes, drive posts, set stakes and monuments.
• Handle equipment, call out readings, write numbers, measure distances.
• Memorize and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Learn to conduct field measurements and observations.
• Learn to assist with maintaining field notes as directed.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the Crew Chief or management.
