Job summary

Alta Environmental & Infrastructure is an Arizona-based engineering firm providing civil, surveying, geotechnical, and environmental services. The Survey Party Chief leads field crews, coordinates control and boundary work, and ensures data quality and safety on heavy construction staking projects.

Qualified applicants will have a minimum of three years in land surveying, strong leadership, and proficiency with total stations, GPS, and levels.

Qualifications

• Three years of land surveying experience, especially construction staking.
• Proficiency with surveying instruments and software (Total Stations, GPS, Levels).
• Strong leadership and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead field surveys including control, boundary, topo, and construction staking.
• Ensure accurate data collection and calibration of equipment.
• Supervise crew, manage schedules, safety, and daily data uploads.
• Coordinate with clients and project managers to address field requirements.
