Turning Stone Enterprises seeks a Surveillance Technical Specialist to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair surveillance equipment, supporting safe operations across our properties. You will play a key behind-the-scenes role, ensuring critical systems run smoothly to protect guests and staff.

• Associate's degree in Electronics or trade training preferred.
• 3–5 years of networking or surveillance experience.
• Knowledge of UDP, TCP, DNS, DHCP, NTP.
• CompTIA or related certifications preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use hand tools.
• Valid NYS Driver's License required.
• Eligibility for Class III gaming license background check.
• Stand/walk for long periods and lift 11–20 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain all surveillance/electronic equipment (recorder, cameras, workstations, etc.) for the Oneida Indian Nation Gaming Commission Surveillance operation.
• Perform wire pulls, camera installation, camera cleaning, and camera firmware updates.
• Provide technical support and training on equipment to operators and inspectors.
• Terminate cat 6 male and female ends.
• Coordinate project needs with departments and outside contractors.
• Keep department files: projects, equipment acquisitions, pricing, warranty information, etc.

What You Will Do As a Surveillance Technical Specialist

• Maintain all surveillance/electronic equipment (i.e., recorders, cameras, workstations, etc.) related to the Oneida Indian Nation Gaming Commission Surveillance operation.
• Perform wire pulls, camera installation, camera cleaning, and camera firmware updates.
• Provide technical support and training on equipment to operators and inspectors.
• Terminate cat 6 male and female ends.
• Coordinate project needs and requirements with appropriate departments and outside contractors.
• Keep technical aspects of the department organized, to include accurate updating and filing for all projects, equipment acquisitions, pricing, warranty information, etc.

Work Experience

To be successful as a Surveillance Technical Specialist, you'll need:

• An Associate's degree in Electronics, trade school certification, or equivalent military training is preferred.
• 3–5 years of related experience, preferably in networking or surveillance.
• Knowledge of network hardware and protocols (UDP, TCP, DNS, DHCP, NTP).
• CompTIA or related technical certifications is preferred.
• The ability to read electrical schematics and flow diagrams and be skilled in using hand tools and specialized electronic equipment.
• A valid NYS Driver's License is required.
• To qualify for a Class III gaming license, including a background investigation.
• The ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 11 - 20 pounds.
