Job summary

Cedar Crossing Casino & Entertainment Center in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Full-Time Surveillance Manager to monitor the surveillance room daily, ensuring guests and Team Members' safety and compliance with Iowa Gaming Commission regulations. You will support security operations and assist in investigations.

Responsibilities include reporting, evaluating technology, coordinating with outside agencies, and implementing emergency procedures.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Two years surveillance experience in a gaming environment preferred.
One year supervisory/leadership experience in a gaming environment preferred.
Experience with card counting and basic strategies preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills required.
Must be proficient with Microsoft applications and related programs.
Knowledge of money handling procedures recommended.

Responsibilities

Provide next-level guest service and uphold Cedar Crossing culture.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies and regulations.
Complete reports and projects assigned by the Casino Shift Manager.
Research, evaluate, and test surveillance technology to optimize systems and cost.
Coordinate investigations with law enforcement and assist in court when needed.
Implement and monitor emergency procedures for fire, floods, or threats.
Assist in staffing and schedules to maximize efficiency.
Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and internal controls.
