Job description

Qualifications:

1. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
2. A thorough working knowledge of all casino operations is required.
3. Must possess excellent customer service, communication, organizational and writing skills.
4. Must have a working knowledge of Mississippi Gaming regulations.
5. Must be 21 years of age.
6. Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
7. Must have basic computer operational skills.
8. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
9. Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Note: Interested applicants cannot have any relatives working in any cash-handling, casino, or guest-related position at Grand Casino Biloxi.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assists the shift supervisor in the supervision and direction of Surveillance Operators in performing their duties and procedures of the company.
• Provides supervision and leadership in the supervisor's absence.
• Performs all duties of a Surveillance Operator when necessary.
• Operates all surveillance equipment, including, but not limited to, VCR's, monitors, switchers, computers, controllers and cameras.
• Provides CCTV and personal observations of all departments and applicable job functions to assure compliance with established laws, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:

1. Must be able to sit or stand for long hours observing numerable CCTV screens.
2. Must be able to work and maneuver in close quarters.
3. Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
4. Must be able to see and, also, remember the specific details of incidents and persons.
5. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
6. Must be able to operate the following equipment: VCRs, monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras.
7. Must be able to give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports.
8. Must be able to work overtime or change shifts on short notice.
9. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
10. Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
