Essential Job Functions:
- Greets customers and takes food and beverage orders in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
- Prepares food and beverage orders and delivers them in a timely manner according to venue standards.
- Monitors guests' needs continuously, ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled. Handles and resolves any concerns or questions customers may have.
- Performs cash handling tasks as required, following cash handling procedures.
- Maintains cleanliness of guest and work areas, including tables, chairs, counters, display shelves, and storage areas as assigned.
- Performs all side work and stocks supplies in accordance with venue standards.
- Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous cash handling and Micros register experience required.
- Previous bartending experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
- Ability to initiate and engage in professional and friendly conversations.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training in the beverage field.
- Knowledge of current property events, promotions, and attractions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work any day of the week and any shift.
- Ability to work well with co-workers and as part of a team.
- Adherence to uniform requirements is mandatory.
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
- Ability to work in excessive heat for extended periods.
- Capability to work indoors and maneuver throughout the assigned station during entire shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, pull, and carry stock to refrigerators and cabinets.
- Use hand motions for cleaning and wiping counters.
- Manual dexterity to complete required side work.
- Ability to listen and respond to visual and auditory cues.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Tolerance for areas with second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
