Job summary

Overview

Surveillance Operator I protects casino assets using closed circuit television (CCTV). Operators observe all activities of guests and team members on the casino floor, cage, count room, and other designated areas. Record activities when appropriate and report observations to appropriate parties, including state officials if necessary. Document all phone calls in the surveillance daily log.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.

• Report on all company procedures, internal controls and gaming regulation violations.
• Conduct investigations (thereby ensuring the protection of property assets) against claims of property loss, personal injury, team member misconduct, criminal activity and/or any incident or event which compromises the company’s policies and procedures, internal controls, state gaming regulations, team members or guests, as assigned by the Surveillance Supervisor.
• Plans, organizes and completes work timely.
• Takes initiatives, shows ownership and goes above and beyond to assist guests with their needs.
• Accepts feedback and coaching from supervisors.
