Bally's Corporation in Atlantic City is seeking a Surveillance Officer to monitor designated areas, respond to internal and guest needs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will use camera equipment and reporting systems, stay mindful of service standards, and work as part of a team to deliver timely, accurate information and maintain a secure environment in a fast-paced casino setting.

  • Knowledge of game cheating methods and related illegal activities (preferred).
  • Knowledge of camera equipment and operating/recording procedures (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Responsabilités

  • Respond to internal guests' needs in a friendly, respectful manner.
  • Provide accurate information and find answers when unsure.
  • Maintain surveillance on designated areas and report irregular activities.
  • Assist with training of new Surveillance officers according to SOPs.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Understands and responds to internal guests' needs.
  • Communicates in a friendly, respectful, and understandable manner.
  • Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answers when unsure.
  • Uses outlined service behaviors when encountering guests.
  • Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department's service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods.
  • Is a team player, cooperates with employees within the department as well as other departments?
  • Speaks positively about the company, co-workers, and guests.
  • Maintains surveillance on designated areas and activities.
  • Assists with training of new Surveillance officer according to standard operating procedures.
  • Records any irregular activity as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • NOTE: EMPLOYEES MUST ADHERE TO THE REGULATIONS SET FORTH IN N.J.A.C. 13:69D-1.10 and 1.11 AND MUST SIGN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THESE REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO BEING EMLOYED IN THE SURVEILLANCE DEPARTMENT.
Work Environment
  • Diverse, fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing and flexing to accommodate last minute requests and changes.
Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Target Salary Range
  • $19.00 Hourly
