Job summary

Delaware North Gaming at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia is seeking a full-time Surveillance Officer to operate facility-wide camera systems and help ensure the safety of guests and team members.

The role requires attention to detail, solid communication, and the ability to produce timely reports; the position offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, routine database activity, and record keeping.
• Basic knowledge and/or training in investigations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all areas of the property, including but not limited to gaming and cage activity, food and beverage activity, and security of the facility and the entire property.
• Produce written reports and logs on any observed violations and illegal activity in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all cameras and computer systems are operational at all times.
• Ensure that all state racing and gaming regulations and polices are followed.
• Comply with confidentiality regulations regarding all surveillance information including camera coverage, investigations, and proprietary material.

Delaware North Gaming is seeking a full-time Surveillance Officer to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. As a Surveillance Officer, you will be conducting facility-wide surveillance camera operations to assist in the protection and safety of the property for guests and team members.

More about you

• Able to obtain and maintain state gaming license
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage crowds effectively
• Computer skills including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, routine database activity, and record keeping
• Basic knowledge and/or training in investigations
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Ability to hear and speak to communicate on two-way radio
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Work environment may consist of a dark area viewing video monitors for entire shift
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
