Job summary

OMES in Oklahoma City is seeking a Program Coordinator to manage the lifecycle of surplus property, ensuring compliance and maximizing value across the process from evaluation to redistribution or disposal.

The role involves handling customer inquiries, data entry, invoicing, photographing items for listings, and coordinating pickups, all within a fast-paced government environment on-site.

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of experience in an office setting
  • One (1) year of experience in customer service

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and in person
  • Perform data entry and invoicing tasks related to surplus property transactions
  • Photograph and stage items for listing on the online bidding platform
  • Schedule customer pickups, agency drop-offs, and coordinate pickup logistics
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of items available for sale
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of processes and systems related to the online bidding platform
  • Stay informed of current state laws, rules, and regulations regarding surplus property management
  • Provide backup support for other team members as needed
