Job summary

Augusta University is seeking a Property Control Specialist 1 to provide logistical support by moving surplus property to the warehouse and delivering items across campus. The role also assists with inventory, tagging and warehouse management, ensuring accurate documentation of daily activities.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 1 year of related experience; preferred is an associate degree or higher with 5+ years in materials management and logistics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus one year of related field experience.
• Preferred: Associate's degree or higher with 5+ years in materials/logistics.
• Knowledge of materials management and moving is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Move surplus property from locations across campus to the warehouse for processing.
• Deliver surplus items from warehouse to departments across campus.
• Assist with inventory, tagging and warehouse housekeeping as needed.
• Place surplus and storage items in correct storage locations.
• Validate paperwork with Inventory Control during deliveries and transfers.
• Operate logistics vehicles and equipment safely.
• Complete daily activity documentation for supervisor review.
• Support warehouse staff as required.
