Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and two years of experience in auction coordination, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications if no legal requirements apply.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for UW departments and external customers regarding Surplus Property services and process requests.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory audits and reporting.
• Advise on disposal policies, EH&S requirements, and ensure compliance with university rules and regulations.
• Coordinate workflow for Receiving & Surplus staff and support program operations and special projects.
