Job summary

Brown & Riding is seeking a Compliance Assistant to support the Compliance Manager in processing state surplus lines filings in accordance with company procedures. The role features on-site work at the Dallas office and involves filing, reconciliation, reporting, and training duties.

Ideal candidates will have exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit surplus lines filings in compliance with state requirements.
• Reconcile amounts payable to regulatory agencies in high-volume states.
• Monitor state SLA tags and prepare weekly reports.
• Assist Team Lead with training new Compliance staff.
• Keep surplus lines records up to date.
• Support the Compliance Helpdesk as needed.
