Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital is seeking a Unit Coordinator for Surgical Services. Under general supervision, you will lead staff, act as a clinical liaison, and support hiring, orientation and performance reviews.

You will ensure safe patient care, manage staffing and budgets, and participate in quality and regulatory activities. Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Michigan RN licensure, and have 2+ years of clinical experience; Master’s in Nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and 2 years of clinical experience required.
• Registered Nurse in good standing in Michigan; licensure required.
• Leadership/management experience preferred; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor staff to maintain unit standards and teamwork.
• Assist managers with hiring, orientation and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling; manage workflow and budgets.
• Serve as clinical liaison with staff, physicians and management.
• Ensure safe patient care environment and ongoing quality compliance.
