Job summary

Cook Children's in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an RN Staff Nurse for the 5 South Tower Trauma and Pre/Postoperative Unit. You will deliver individualized nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support the pediatric population from infant to adolescent.

The role requires 1 year of direct nursing experience, an Associate's in Nursing, and an active TX RN license with BLS. PALS/NRP and unit-specific certifications may be required after hire.

Qualifications

1 year of direct nursing experience required.
Active, unrestricted TX Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Deliver competent, individualized nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address patient needs and ensure safety and service excellence.
Advocate for patients and families while maintaining professional communication.
