Job summary

Montgomery College seeks a full-time Surgical Technology faculty member to begin January 2027. The role involves teaching didactic, laboratory, and clinical courses across multiple delivery modes, including face-to-face and online, at multiple campuses in the DC/MD/VA area.

The position requires a master’s or NBSTSA credential, teaching experience, and a commitment to inclusive education in a diverse student population.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher is required.
• Associate degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Teach didactic, laboratory, and clinical courses in Surgical Technology.
• Teach 30 semester hours per academic year; may teach summer classes.
• Engage in accreditation activities and program assessment.
• Advise students and participate in service and professional development.
