Job summary

Community College of Denver seeks an Assistant Professor of Surgical Technology, Provisional Faculty, responsible for didactic, lab, and clinical instruction. The role mentors diverse students while promoting an inclusive learning environment and upholds accreditation and professional standards.

The position requires program development, collaboration with the Program Chair, and partnerships with medical facilities for clinical placements.

Qualifications

• Two years (4000 hours) of full-time Surgical Technologist experience within the last five years.
• Credential in surgical technology through a national certif. program (NCCA).
• Current CTE credential or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic, lab, and clinical instruction with advanced surgical practices.
• Mentor and support diverse student populations and foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Plan, assess, and align courses with program goals and accreditation standards.
