Qualifications

• Three years of occupational experience in the subject field.
• Within the last five years, at least three years of OR experience or teaching in the field.
• Current CST credential.
• Associate degree with appropriate coursework required.
• Graduate from a CHEA-accredited program in the specialty.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as mentor, role model and facilitator for students.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and the learning process.
• Apply skills to the teaching schedule and course delivery.
• Contribute to assessment activities and continuous improvement of courses.
• Improve class materials and syllabi within shared governance culture.
• Utilize diverse teaching methodologies to meet learning outcomes.
• Maintain scholarly activities and professional growth.
• Engage in service per university policies.
