Job summary

College of DuPage seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Surgical Technology and Central Sterile Processing. Qualifications

• A combination of an Associate degree, training and tested experience in the field.
• Graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency.
• Have a minimum total of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years.
• Possess a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
• Certification within 6 months: HSPA CRCST or CSPDT.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
• Evaluate students and submit required paperwork on time.
• Teach using multiple delivery modes (face-to-face, online, hybrid/blended).
