Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related discipline required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Credential in surgical technology through a national certification program (NCAA) required.
• 3+ years of OR scrub or instructor experience in surgical technology within past 5 years.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for students, alumni, faculty, and partners.
• Experience teaching hands-on skills to surgical technologists or students.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical sites, monitor credentialing, and maintain site documentation.
• Teach orientation for clinical preceptors and ensure accreditation standards are met.
• Schedule clinical experiences and place students for practicum.
• Advise program administrator on industry trends, site availability, and student performance.
• Ensure timely submission of required reports and maintain partnerships with clinical sites.
