Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology education program.
• Credential in surgical technology through NCAA-accredited program.
• At least 3 years in OR scrub or teaching surgical technology within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the profession and accreditation standards.
• Identify, select, contract with, monitor and evaluate clinical sites.
• Visit clinical sites at least once per rotation for quality experience.
• Establish clinical schedules and evaluate student learning experiences.
• Place students for internship/practicum assignments.
• Advise program administrator on trends, statistics and site availability.
