Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a brand-new Ambulatory Surgery Center in Florida.

This role involves assisting in surgical operations under supervision, preparing ORs, passing instruments, and supporting patient care from pre-op to post-op. The ideal candidate graduates from an accredited surgical technologist program, holds CPR certification, and has 0-2 years of related clinical experience with urology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Must be certified to perform CPR with 0-2 years of clinical experience in a related field.
• Urology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up operating room with instruments, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation procedures and ensures patient safety.
• Performs pre-operation skin prep and adjusts equipment.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Transfer patients post-operation and restock the operating room.
