Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in the operating room under physician and RN supervision. The role requires preparation of equipment and sterile setup for surgeries, patient prep, and continuous support during procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining sterile technique, passing instruments, and helping finalize procedures and recovery steps as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CPR certification with 0-2 years clinical experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Set up the operating room with instruments, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions.
• Tend to patient during pre-operation procedures per hospital regulations.
• Perform pre-operation skin prep and instrument checks.
• Assemble and verify sterile and non-sterile equipment.
• Prepare patients for surgery: wash, shave, disinfect incision sites.
• Transport and position patients on the operating table with drapes.
• Assist surgeons with gowning, gloving, and passing instruments.
