Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc in Florida is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a brand-new Ambulatory Surgery Center. No weekends, no call, and no holidays, with a focus on safe, efficient patient care.

As a member of the operating room team, you will prepare equipment, assist during surgery, manage sterile technique, and support surgeons and nurses before, during, and after procedures. Orthopedics experience is preferred and CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CPR certification with 0-2 years clinical experience.
• Orthopedics experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up operating room with instruments, sterile drapes and solutions.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation and prepares skin and equipment.
• Passes instruments to surgeons and assists with gowning and gloving.
• Helps transfer and position patients and maintains sterile field.
• Cleans and restocks the OR after procedures.
