Hancock Regional Hospital in Indiana is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to prepare the operating suite for procedures and assist the surgeon throughout the case. The role requires maintaining sterility, supporting the physician, and aiding in patient positioning and transport.

Responsibilities include setting up instruments, supplies and equipment, and ensuring readiness for subsequent cases while following universal precautions and safety protocols.

Formación

• CPR certification is mandatory.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare operating suite with supplies, equipment and instruments.
• Maintain a sterile field and assist the physician before, during and after the procedure.
• Assist the RN in preparing for the procedure.
• Assist in positioning the patient.
• Pull supplies and instruments for future cases.
• Help transport and move the patient and follow universal precautions.
